"Introspection” is a silent invitation to an inner journey — a moment when we look at ourselves without hesitation, seeking more than just a reflection; we seek to understand and find ourselves. The artwork shows a woman gazing into a mirror, but the reflection she sees is not her face. It is a white lotus flower against a luminous background.
This flower, a powerful symbol, grows in murky, swampy waters, yet rises splendid, radiant, and bright. It embodies the beauty that emerges from chaos, ready to receive the light — the strength that springs from roots initially anchored in difficulty and darkness.
In the mirror, two lotus flowers appear: one fully bloomed, radiant and luminous, the other still a bud, ready to open. This contrast reminds us that blossoming is a journey, a continuous process of growth. It evokes the gradual release of limitations, beliefs, and perceptions that hold back our true nature, our ability to live a life truly aligned.
“Introspection” is an ode to patience and the gentle unfolding of inner change. A recognition that even in the darkest waters, light can emerge — in its own time, at its own pace.
